Havoc and Prodigy support dedicated indie record store vendors and appease patient fans with a 24 hour window to get lifted off “Black Cocaine.”

Queens, New York duo Mobb Deep will release their first group project in six years, Black Cocaine on November 22. Prodigy and Havoc announced this morning that the self-released EP will come in two versions. The pair will release a five-song digital version of the project.

In addition, Mobb Deep has opted to support independent retailers by providing a limited-edition seven-song version of Black Cocaine as well. This will only be available only on November 25, otherwise known as “Black Friday.” “We wanted to give something to the fans that have been waiting for new Mobb Deep music ” says Prodigy.  “This limited edition EP is a collectors’ item for die hard Mobb Deep fans” adds Havoc.
